It is a requirement of the Group 7 Junior Rugby League that “ALL” volunteers must have a valid NSW Working With Children Check before registering as a rugby league volunteer. Regardless of whether you are a close relative of a participant or not you, you still require a clearance:
All Ground Managers must be registered with their local club under the Volunteer member type, which is selectable at the beginning of the club registration form. Registrations are completed online through playrugbyleague.com. The Club Finder will direct you to your local club’s registration form.

NSWRL in conjunction with the NRL Education team have developed an online Community Club Ground Manager Induction training module, which is designed to give volunteers a head start on their appointment as a Ground Manager at their Club. It contains NSWRL specific content including scenarios, training, tips and links to commonly used resources and documents for the role of Ground Manager.
